Whether developing a talent-led format, identifying the right voice for a major campaign, securing high-profile talent, or shaping long-term career and content strategy, she combines sharp editorial judgment with a relationship network built over decades in the business. In recent years, Melissa has become a go-to talent partner across the sports ecosystem, collaborating with leagues, networks, athletes, production companies, and brands to develop content at the intersection of sports, culture, and entertainment. Most recently, she served as Talent Producer on Hello Sunshine's The Rise for Peacock — a landmark documentary series chronicling the growth of women's professional sports, including WNBA 2024: The Year That Changed Everything and The New Moneyball. The project reflects both the momentum of the category and Melissa's ability to help bring consequential, conversation-shaping stories to a broad audience.

Her broader credits span some of the most recognizable franchises and personalities in entertainment, sports, and culture: Lip Sync Battle on Spike TV, Cold As Balls with Kevin Hart for Hartbeat, Groundbreakers with Billie Jean King on PBS, Gutsy with Hillary and Chelsea Clinton on Apple TV+, and The Eli Manning Show, winner of a New York Emmy Award. Her work also extends to feature films, Broadway, live events, and major sports properties — including August Rush, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, and serving as an NFL owner liaison during Super Bowl XLVII.

Before launching Hope Productions, Melissa held senior leadership roles that deepened her understanding of what media organizations need to succeed. As Director of Talent and Development at MSG Media, she helped support the network's evolution from an all-sports outlet into a broader sports-and-entertainment destination. At College Sports Television (CSTV), a CBS-owned network, she contributed to building the talent infrastructure during a period of rapid growth. She also partnered with Bleacher Report's B/Real initiative, connecting elite athletes with purpose-driven storytelling built for lasting impact.

Her foundation was built during nearly a decade at Nickelodeon, where she cast and developed talent across some of the network's most iconic franchises — Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, The Backyardigans, All That, Figure It Out, and Double Dare 2000. It was there, leading the nationwide search for a new Blue's Clues host, that she first demonstrated what has become her signature: the ability to identify talent that connects with audiences at scale, and the conviction to champion that vision when it matters most.
